Kendall Coffey used to act as the United States attorney for the Southern District of the state of Florida. He led one of the biggest federal prosecution branches in the United States. In addition, he was Honorable Lewis R. Morgan’s Law Clerk in the Fifth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals. Kendall Coffey is still making his mark in the legal world.

Sellar Property Group Postpones Project Due to Logistical Reasons

The construction of potentially the highest building in the UK by the time it would be finished, Renzo’s Piano’s Shard in London Bridge Place, has been postponed, apparently due to logistical reasons. The building is to be built by the Sellar Property Group, and it seems that the site clearance has not taken place yet, even though it was scheduled to be over by now.

While the company claims it to be a temporary decision, rumours hint that the company is considering postponing the construction for a much longer duration as the market is not amenable to such a project right now.

This could come as a jolt for the future tenants of the building who had rented it in advance because of the pride associated to it being the highest building. They were scheduled to take over by 2012 but that does not seem to be a possibility now.

New London Bridge House will have to be torn down before any construction can take place for the London Bridge Place. The London Bridge Quarter development organization has said that the area will be cleared by 2010 and the developers for the Tower area will be able to choose how to utilise the space.

The current building plan suggests that the London Bridge Place will be spread in 420,000 square feet of floor space a large proportion to be designated as shared office, and the Shard offices in 400,000 square feet. However, these plans may not turn into reality considering the constant drop in the value of real estate in the UK.
