An Overview of Kendall Coffey’s Education and Expertise

Kendall Coffey is a frequent guest legal analyst in news stations such as Headline News, MSNBS, CNBC, CNN, Telemundo and FOX.

The legal analyst has high credentials in his educational background. He graduated from the University of Florida on March 1978 with honors and a Juris Doctor. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi fraternity as well as a Moot Court Articles Editor and Senior Student Works Editor. He also studied at the Miami Dade Community College and at the Palmetto Senior High School.

Kendall Coffey is an associate of Coffey Burlington, a firm whose state-wide practice includes complex legal litigation at the appellate and trial levels across the state. He has written a number of legal works from “The Due Process Right to Seek Asylum” in the Yale Law and Policy Review to the recently released thesis “Foreclosures in Florida.”

Kendall Coffey used to act as the United States attorney for the Southern District of the state of Florida. He led one of the biggest federal prosecution branches in the United States. In addition, he was Honorable Lewis R. Morgan’s Law Clerk in the Fifth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals. Kendall Coffey is still making his mark in the legal world.
